15-year-old Sa'ad al-Din al-Zaru sustained bruises as a result of being hit by an Israeli military vehicle in the old town of Hebron.
Nasr al-Zaru, the latter's brother, told the legal office at HRC that his brother was walking on Al-Sahla Street near the Ibrahimi school when he was run over by a speeding military vehicle. His brother added that the family transferred their injured son to Hebron Governmental Hospital where he received treatment.
Many Palestinians, especially children, are being run over by settlers' or military vehicles. These vehicles usually run at high speed as they are the only ones allowed to drive on the streets where Palestinian traffic has been barred by the occupation authorities for many years.
